Mike began his career at Ringler Associates in 1996. He is a Masters Certified Structured Settlement Specialist and is the managing owner/broker of the Costa Mesa office of Ringler, with more than 30 years of experience in Structured Settlements, claims and risk management.

Mike specializes in settling Worker’s Compensation, Products Liability, General Liability, Wrongful Death/Survivor claims, Mass Tort, Elder Abuse, Employment Discrimination, Maritime/Longshore Liability and Medical Malpractice personal injury matters.

Mike testifies and participates in court proceedings, arbitrations and settlement conferences throughout the U.S. as a settlement advisor/expert and annuity specialist. He also analyzes Life Care Plans, vocational rehabilitation reports and projects future loss of earnings claims and lifetime medical awards and judgments.

Mike participates in IEA and MCLE continuing education seminars throughout the country as a speaker on the use of structured settlements to legal organizations and the insurance claims industry.

Mike holds the Masters Certified Structured Settlement Consultant designation from Notre Dame University and has completed advanced studies relating to Medicare Secondary Payer statutory provisions.

Mike is an affiliate or supporting member of the American Association of People with Disabilities, (AAPD), Consumer Attorneys of California, (CAOC), California Applicant’s Attorneys Association, (CAAA), Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, (CAALA), Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, (OCTLA), Risk and Insurance Management Society, (RIMS), Claim Litigation Management, (CLM), Professional Association of Risk Managers, (PARMA), California Coalition on Workers Compensation, (CCWC) and the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, (NSSTA).

Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with options/minors in Public Administration and Marketing from California State University at Long Beach. He has also completed certificate study programs and received the highest industry designation from Notre Dame University.
